Built for the people traditional housing forgot.
We started My Comfort Stay because too many people get shut out of housing for reasons that have nothing to do with who they are today — a past eviction, a fixed income, a criminal record from years ago, or simply not having anywhere else to turn.
Why We Exist
Housing should be a launchpad, not a barrier.
After watching a family member struggle to find housing following a difficult life transition, turned away again and again over credit history, income source, or the past, our founder knew there had to be a better way. My Comfort Stay was created to bridge that gap in North Port, Florida, for the people who need it most: seniors living on SSI or SSDI, individuals returning home after incarceration, people rebuilding after homelessness or housing instability, and anyone in recovery who needs a stable, supportive place to land.
We're not a shelter. We're a premium shared housing provider, built to meet people exactly where they are with the warmth, stability, and dignity every resident deserves.
